Welcome to SantaBooker! These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the SantaBooker platform. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to any part of these Terms, you must not use our platform.
1. Scope of Service
SantaBooker is an online platform that facilitates bookings for Santa visits and related events. We act solely as a booking facilitator and do not take part in managing or delivering the actual event experience. Our responsibility ends once the booking is successfully confirmed through the platform.
We are not responsible for:
- Ongoing management, changes, or cancellations of bookings after confirmation
- The experience provided at the event or grotto, including quality, timing, or conduct
- Communications or transactions between you and your customers outside the platform
2. Booking Fees
A booking fee is applied to each ticket sold through SantaBooker. This fee is payable even if the booking is later cancelled or refunded. The fee covers the cost of platform usage, payment processing, and administrative services, and is non-refundable under all circumstances.
3. Payments and Invoicing
- Invoices for booking fees and platform use are issued weekly.
- Payment is due within 7 calendar days of the invoice date.
- Late or missing payments may result in your access to SantaBooker being suspended until payment is received in full.
- We reserve the right to charge interest or apply additional fees for overdue invoices, where legally permitted.
4. User Responsibilities
As a platform user, you agree to:
- Ensure all information you provide (including availability and pricing) is accurate and kept up to date
- Honor confirmed bookings made through the platform
- Comply with all applicable local laws and regulations governing your services
5. Misuse and Platform Abuse
You must not misuse the SantaBooker platform. Misuse includes, but is not limited to:
- Attempting to circumvent booking fees or payment terms
- Abusing the system to spam, deceive, or manipulate customers or SantaBooker staff
- Using the platform for any unlawful or unauthorised purpose
- Attempting to access restricted areas or reverse-engineer the platform
We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate any account involved in misuse, fraud, or violation of these Terms, without prior notice.
6. Platform Access and Security
We make reasonable efforts to ensure the availability and security of the SantaBooker platform. However, we do not guarantee that the platform will be free from interruptions, errors, or malicious activity. You use the service at your own risk and are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SantaBooker will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. This includes but is not limited to lost revenue, missed bookings, customer complaints, or damage to reputation. Our total liability is limited to the total amount of commission fees paid to us in the 30 days preceding any claim.
8. Termination of Access
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to SantaBooker at any time, without notice, for reasons including but not limited to non-payment, misuse, breach of these Terms, or legal compliance requirements.
9. Modifications to Terms
SantaBooker may modify these Terms from time to time. The most recent version will always be posted on our website. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted indicates your acceptance of the updated Terms.
10. Global Use and Governing Law
SantaBooker is available to users worldwide. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the platform complies with all applicable local, regional, or national laws.
Unless otherwise required by law, these Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
